Hank and Kathy Moore stumbled upon the original Oscar's Cafe when they were world traveling. They always chose outdoor eateries for the experience and atmosphere. When visiting Zion National Park they naturally stopped at Oscar's Cafe. At the time it was nothing more than a small town walk-up and order eatery.
When they met the owner they were so charmed with the place Hank said, "If you ever want to sell this place, I'll buy it." Little did they know that they would get a call the very next day from the owner taking Hank up on his offer. That was over twenty-one years ago and since the Moores took over Oscar's cafte has blossomed into a full-service restaurant and an integral part of the Springdale community.
Oscar's Cafe is known for it's delicious dishes, especially their breakfast menu. They serve a Light Start menu for those wanting to hike in Zion National Park. Their light menu includes items like Fruit Parfait, Hiker's Granola, Irish Steel Cut Oatmeal, Bagel, and sides of fresh fruit. For those wanting more filling dishes, Oscar's Cafe offers the traditional pancakes, french toast, breakfast burritos, omelettes, toast, and egg specialty dishes. Their breakfast coffee brews include Fresh Brewed, Fresh Brewed Decaf, Expresso, Cappuccino, Latte and even Iced-coffee. Guests can choose coffee flavorings such as chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and hazelnut. For those wanting something more relaxing they have both hot and iced tea.
Their lunch and dinner menu is a mix of Mexican with American Burgers and Sandwiches. Their starters include a variety of Quesadillas as well as their blue corn chip Mucho Nachos. Their Mexican menu includes Enchiladas, Taco Grande, Chili Verde Burrito, Oscar's Burritos and Chimichangas as well as Oscar's Chili Verde Tamales. Their Burger options are extensive with options like their Garlic Burger, Avocado Chip Burger, and even one called the Murder Burger. Their Sandwiches and wraps include options like Grilled Portobello and Avocado. Whatever you are craving, Oscar's Cafe is sure to provide a delicious and filling dish for it.
